GREATER
TUCSON LEADERSHIP ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
FOR 2004 SENIOR LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
TUCSON,
Ariz. (August 2, 2004) -- Greater
Tucson Leadership, a Tucson non-profit
organization devoted to building leaders
in the Tucson community, is accepting
applications for its 2004 senior adult
leadership class. The Senior Leadership
Program provides senior citizens,
retirees, or soon-to-be retirees with
an introduction to the diverse issues
facing our community while providing
opportunities for personal growth
and "making a difference."
The
program is being offered by Greater
Tucson Leadership, in partnership
with the Pima Council on Aging and
the Rotary Club of Tucson. "The
goal of the Senior Leadership Program
is to develop a network of informed,
concerned, and engaged senior citizens
to encourage and facilitate their
active involvement and commitment,
both individually and as a group,
in activities that make a positive
difference in our community."
Participants
in the Senior Leadership Program meet
on selected Tuesdays for seven months
beginning in October and ending in
April. The faculty is drawn from recognized
Tucson leaders and the program is
presented with a nonpartisan and impartial
approach to critical community issues.
All classes take place on Tuesdays
- Every 2nd week during the Fall and
every 3rd week during the Spring.
The schedule includes an extended
Holiday break.
Breakfast
and Lunch are included for each class.

Apr. 26, 2005 Graduation (in the
evening)

please fill out and mail, fax or e-mail
an Application Request to the Class
Selection Committee to receive a 2004-05
Application Packet. Applications are
due September 10, 2004 and are
available by contacting the Greater
Tucson Leadership office, (520)
