Community
Water Forum On Tap
The availability of adequate supplies
of high quality drinking water is
one of the most important issues facing
communities around the world. Here
in the Tucson area, we’re fortunate
to have a growing number of world-class
experts who are working together to
meet the water challenges we face
locally and on a regional basis. Greater
Tucson Leadership has brought together
three of those experts for a public
discussion on the critical topic of
water.
On Thursday, March 31, 2005, Greater
Tucson Leadership (GTL) is sponsoring
a Water Issues Forum. This luncheon
discussion is scheduled for March
31, 2005 beginning at 11:30 AM at
the historic Manning House, 450 W.
Paseo Redondo in downtown Tucson.
The Forum will feature a panel of
recognized experts discussing the
water issues facing our region. The
panel includes Kenneth Seasholes,
Tucson Area Director for the Arizona
Department of Water Resources; David
Modeer, the Director of Tucson Water;
and Andy Laurenzi, Director of the
Sonoran Institute's State Trust Lands
Program. A question and answer session
will follow the panel presentations.
Tickets for the luncheon are $40/person,
and table sponsorships are available
for $375. GTL members receive a discount.
Reservations may be made by calling
Greater Tucson Leadership at (520)
512-5GTL prior to March 28.
The mission of Greater Tucson
Leadership is to foster and support
quality leadership in the Tucson region
through educational programs and community
events that inform and motivate action.
